Hi. My name is Jaime Goodman and I'm a multimedia designer in the northern Virginia area. I've worked in education for five years developing classroom assets such as animations, webpages, interactive knowledge checks, and simulations while keeping it 508 compliant.
I'm knowledgeable in responsive design, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, and some PHP and Flash.

American Public University System Charles Town,WV
Multimedia Design Specialist 2012-Now
• Created 508 compliant media pieces for use in a classroom setting
• Collaborated with faculty to determine the most effective media for their classroom
• Learned an LMS from the educator’s and the student’s side
• Worked with a team to create online content and tutorials for use by faculty and students in the company
• Used Adobe analytics software to gather metrics on the success of training materials
• Created an interactive style guide, used by thousands of students and one of the company's highest hit training pages
• Created interactive simulations, graphics, and responsive websites for faculty use
• One of the lead designers in an 7 million dollar initiative to
create interactive classroom 'publications' with a focus on mobile applications

Communications and Operations Project Coordinator 2010-2012
• Completed multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously for
internal clients
• Created Flash animations for use with the Virtual Career Fair, used recently by approx. 30 employers and open to over 100,00 students
• Edited articles and created dynamic images for the 2 quarterly student newsletters, On the Frontline and Modern Scholar, which are sent to over 100,000 people including faculty, staff, students, and alumni
• Researched, proposed, and implemented a software which is now utilized yearly for all graduating students
• Studied and became the department expert in Adobe Connect, teaching both student organizations and staff how to utilize it
• Used InDesign to create and layout a publication that is available yearly to all graduating students
• Employed a content management system (SiteExecutive) to effectively update and maintain current Web content
• Learned Adobe SiteCatalyst and compiled metrics for department sites
• Created Web content such as banners, newsletters, logos, and icons for the public facing Web to enhance the visual experience
